public interface IWindowHost
name description
IsLayoutEditing { get; } True while the user is in layout edit-mode (Shift+), when overlays are force-shown for arranging even out of their normal context. A HUD's content Funcs can read this to render example / placeholder values (so the layout is legible while positioning) instead of the empty/zero they'd return out of context — e.g. () => _services.Windows.IsLayoutEditing ? “1234” : Live()`. Polled each refresh (~10 Hz); flips within ~100 ms of entering/leaving edit-mode.
Find(…) Look up a registered window by id (host-side composition / sibling addressing).
Register(…) Register a window. Built when its canvas is available; returns a handle to manage it. (2 methods)
